You are right about the electric motors, they produce maximum torque immediately. Combine that with 4 motors and 4WD and it is over before the green light comes on.
4WD (OK, all wheel drive for y’all euros) is absolutely unbeatable. Used to have a TSI AWD Eagle Talon and it was unbelievable how fast it could take off from a standing start, then 12 lbs. turbo boost would hit and it was bye bye to even SS Camaros.
It’s all about contact patches and weight distribution and a RWD 2WD is poor at both. 1 billion HP or not.
Some day electric will rule the school. It’s simple physics. But in the big picture sense, it’s still not there yet. But any time a Camaro owner haZ a sad, I haZ a happy ;)
