any extra noney (do we have any?) will be far, far better spent trying to fix our public high schools

We've been throwing money at the public schools for decades. And, for the most part, they've only gotten worse.

When it comes to public education, it's evident that lack of money isn't the problem. We're throwing good money after bad. Accordingly, perhaps we ought to be investing in something else -- like tax credits for home schoolers. Like vouchers.

anything that lets parents have choice which schools they send their kids to.....
will inject a little free market competitive force
into the educational system

and should greatly improve quality for the kids
