Well, not really. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story, eh?
Is that what you're trying to argue about?
Jesse Ventura, former Navy SEAL (yes, he really was)...
I have it on good authority that Ventura was never a SEAL for a day in his life.
What else in this article is wrong?
Ventura is a liar who was never a Navy SEAL in his life.
He was a UDT frogman and that’s great, but circa 1972 they were NOT SEALs. You cannot retroactively make Ventura a SEAL by saying, “But all UDT guys were SEALs. It’s official. All the SEALs agree.”
BULL$#it. SEALs went to Viet Nam and got shot and blown up. UDT guys (like Ventura) went to Subic Bay in the Philippines and stacked pesos on bottles of San Miguel as a unique tip to the girls.
If you insist Ventura is a SEAL, just tell me, which SEAL team was he assigned to? Answer: None.
And why did the US Navy have two different designator codes, 5321 and 5326, to distinguish between UDT men and SEALs? Riddle me that.
