Please do not get the impression that ANY black person was supportive of this. All that were chained on the freeway were non-black. In fact, I must give credit to the local media for going out of their way to interview black people who were inconvenienced by this act (which should be considered a felony).
This action easily affected at least 100,000 people that morning, according to folks from downtown to Logan airport. Ambulances had to make detours with life-threatening patients, folks missed return flights, late for daycare drop offs and pick ups, etc. In fact, I hear one black man call a local talk show complaining that he missed a job interview, but got it re-scheduled because (wait for it) The interviewer was delayed due to the same incident.
People around here are STILL livid over this - across party and racial lines.
I guess I’m writing this to make it clear to all freepers that this act was not done by black people (and doubtful if it was really done for them, either). If you watch the video of where the Boston media was going to interview these losers, ALL were uppper-middle to high class homes in places where you don’t find to many black folks.
I say only this: the next time this stunt happens anywhere in the US, I strongly suggest the local police simply refuse to show up. Then let’s see what happens.

If I was a mole in the liberal movement, and wanted to harm them in the court of public opinion as horrifically as possible, I would suggest just this course of action.
"Guys! I have the BESTEST idea EVAH!"
If I was transporting a member of my family to the hospital with what I felt was a life threatening condition, and they blocked my way, I know what would happen. There would be at least one less protestor in this world.
