The United States has been at war with radical Islamist terrorism for at least 35 years, starting with the November 1979 Iranian seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and taking of 52 American hostages...
For the next two decades, radical Islamist terrorism grew more powerful and more sophisticated...
Congress should investigate:
1. The current strength and growth rate of radical Islamists around the world. We need a detailed sense of the total picture. The scale of the threat from this nihilistic global movement, I suspect, will be stunning.
2. The country-by-country danger. Americans simply dont realize how dire the situation is in specific areas. Boko Haram has killed thousands more people in Nigeria alone than Ebola has in all of Africa, according to data compiled by the Council on Foreign Relations and the Centers for Disease Control. One or more hearings should focus on each center of radical Islamism, including Somalia, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
3. The role of the Muslim Brotherhood. The group is vital to the global radical Islamist movement, yet so little understood by Washington elites that it deserves its own set of hearings.
4. The primary sources of radical Islamist funding, especially Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran.
5. The Arab countriesincluding Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeriathat have successfully contained and minimized radical Islamists. We must learn how this was accomplished and what aspects should be replicated.
6. Radicalization in mosques and on social media. How are young Muslims being drawn into terrorism? What can be done to counter a seductive message that has reached deep into Europe and the U.S. and inspired jihadists by the thousands to travel to the Middle East for terrorist training that can be exported back home?
7. The Islamist cyberthreat...

Heck, we're not losing to iSlime. We're torpedoing our own country. We sure don't need them for that.
Why we’re losing: We won’t kill indiscriminately every muslim on the planet like they are cockroaches.
Islam used to have a more geographical border, but now the western world is importing them in mass. Islam is no longer on the other side of the fence.
Gumdrop, you are correct.
A good read, with 40 yrs of research is by Howard Bloom, The Mohammed Code. Found on https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/308430
Here is just one review: “Although strong in its point of view, it is NOT hype, hyperbole or unfortunately ‘bullshit’. It is thoughtful, thought provoking and very, very scary. I am unable to counter its arguments and so far, I am unable to fashion any kind of approach or solution to temper the author’s conclusions. Please read it and let’s see if we can author an actual ‘fix’ that might work.”

Newt’s analysis reads like counting how many walnuts are in your chocolate chip cookie recipe.
Duh!! Just kill Islamists, Newt.
There is no such thing as Radical Islam, nor moderate Islam...there is only Islam.
It is incompatible with humanity and any sort of civilization. It is barbarity in it’s most base form sanctioned by an illiterate warlord pederast, pedophile, rapist, megalomaniac.
>>>One could make a case the world has been at war with Islam since it’s inception.<<<
Agreed. When your basic worldview divides the world between The World of Islam and the World of War, it isn’t a big step to start fighting.
Indeed it has. Time to reduce them to living in mud huts. Everywhere. It's not up to us to reform islam or convince islam to reform itself. If they won't live with the rest of the world, the rest of the world will live without them.
We are fighting a people that have an inter generational will to win. The continuity of combat operations and violence perpetrated by Muslims has been unbroken for 1400 years. Everything in the world to a Muslim is a tool for war and conquest. Even a woman’s vagina is nothing more than a factory to produce warriors or more hajji factories.
