A teenager charged in connection with a Belhaven shooting is in jail without bond, court officials said.
Jackson police say three teenagers may be suspects in a recent string of armed robberies, carjackings and assaults.

A 69-year-old woman has died after being shot Wednesday evening during a robbery in Belhaven, officials said.
Two other teenagers, Antreal Jones, 18 and Jerome Moore, 17, were arrested Tuesday after a two-hour manhunt in south Jackson. They are both charged with capital murder and carjacking, police said.
The three teenagers are accused of shooting Carolyn Temple during a robbery Jan. 7 in front of her boyfriend's Belhaven home. Temple died late Monday night.

Temple's funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at St. Luke's Methodist Church.
Moore's mother, Shronda Burns, said her son wasn't involved in the attack on Temple.
"My son ain't going to shoot no gun," Burns said. "Now, I'm not saying that he wouldn't rob nobody, but I know he won't shoot no gun."

Does she understand that being well known to the police for burglary and robbery is not a resume enhancement? Does she know her baby's life of crime is going to be cut short by a long vacation at the state's expense?

Everyday, another poor excuse for parenting. In fact, a poor excuse for being a human. Worse, “juvenile” means under 18 and won’t get the gas chamber or whatever approved method they have to exterminate the vermin. IMO, they should be napalmed.
His mother ought to be arrested for naming her son Antreal. “Gut” is easier to spell.

Seriously? Shredding of the English language is the least of this women’s crimes.
It's like that old joke about why bag pipers march while playing; to try to get away from the noise.
Trying to distance yourself from your tribe with a new, approved label doesn't change the sociopathic nature of the group.
And in response to these kinds of spreading atrocities, I find that some of the old labels are precise and well deserved.
