There were 2 independent eyewitnesses who saw Sandusky buggering boys in the shower. Many of his victims filed police reports soon after the abuse. Eight of them testified under oath and were cross examined. His own adopted son was also prepared to testify that Sandusky abused him.
He admitted to showering naked with a boy in 1998 and also made incriminating comments in media interviews.
There were mountains of credible evidence against Sandusky.
Please tell me what the mountain of credible evidence was in the Sandusky case. There was actually no physical evidence at all. Sandusky was convicted solely on several of the charges by the victims’ testimony of what happened to them. Those victims had no evidence to prove anything they said.
Some of the boys could not even remember which YEAR it happened or how old they were. Jerry Sandusky got convicted on some of the charges with the prosecutors GUESSING the date. (You must be REALLY upset about that, since you need to know the exact date of the Cosby rapes.)
The two eyewitnesses that you speak so highly of? The coach initially testified UNDER OATH he saw Sandusky raping a boy in the wrong month and YEAR that he first said it happened. How credible is that witness?
And the other witness that supposedly saw Jerry in the shower with another boy? He couldn’t testify because he had DEMENTIA. He couldn’t even identify the boy at the time and NEVER CALLED THE POLICE. How credible is that—a witness that never called the police?
By the way, (this is REALLY going to outrage you), Sandusky got convicted on that charge without the name of the victim ever being identified. The police never found him or ever spoke to him and they never had any physical evidence that a rape ever happened! He got convicted of raping someone that never ever said Sandusky raped him and may never have existed!
You also state that the boys filed police reports after the abuse. That’s incorrect. Many of them never did and it wasn’t until years later that they spoke to the police. One even denied that it happened to him and had even written letters to Sandusky comparing him to family.
You sound like you believe he raped the adopted son. That’s comical. Where’s the physical evidence of that? Where are the police reports and DNA? We’re supposed to believe him because he says so? How do you know he’s just not an ungrateful child with mental problems because of being adopted and is out for money?
