The head of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce charged on Wednesday that Senator Elizabeth Warren and other backers of what he called "economic populism" were actually seeking a state-run economy.
...
"Today we're hearing a lot of talk about so-called economic populism. Its advocates claim they are standing up for the average citizen - but what they really stand for is the unbridled growth of the central government and a state-run economy,"

"Today we're hearing a lot of talk about so-called economic populism. Its advocates claim they are standing up for the average citizen - but what they really stand for is the unbridled growth of the central government and a state-run economy," And the Chamber can't tolerate that - not because they want a free and vibrant economy, but because they stand for a crony-run economy.

The same cronies will get rich off a state run economy as would from a state manipulated economy.

This, coming from the CofC, who would rather prefer a corporate controlled mexican slave labor economy?
Hey CofC, slavery has been outlawed in the US, and cortez and his Spaniard buddies beat you to the mexican slave labor market by a few centuries, so just drop it already.

The CoC of course is attacking 'populism' as whole. Ms. Warren isn't the right 'populist' that the US needs.
Of recent note, Ms. Warren voted against the .Gov terrorism {TRIA}insurance program; while Sen. Cruz supported it, and almost everyone else.

Fascism is very profitable and good, for both the cronies and the government! It's only the consumer who gets the SCREWING!
Funny how business leaders, their cronies (i.e., CofC, etc...), and the government all espouse the greatness (even if they each call it by a different name)!!!
