LOL, really? I can see that you know the final score, but were you watching the game? OSU had a kid who had started ONE college game ever at QB... and even so, they:
outgained Bama per rush (6.7 ypc),
outgained Bama per pass (7.1 ypa),
won the turnover battle (3 INTs against the new kid's one),
won on time of possession, and, oh yeah,
won on the scoreboard.
But even more indicative of the dominance was the 3rd down conversions and drives...
Bama was 2-of-13 (15.3%), OSU went 10-of-18 (55.5%).
OSU had 3 drives of more than 8 plays. Bama none.
OSU had 3 drives (not the same 3) of over 4 minutes. Bama had none.
Bama had 8 drives of 12 yards of less. OSU had 4.
At one point early in the 3rd Qtr, Bama was being outgained 443 to 160.
Bama only won in two statistical categories for the entire game: kick return average (thanks to a single 36 yd return), and punting... the Bama punter was a freaking hero all game long... but when your punter is your best player, with a national title shot on the line... you got your butt kicked.
42-35, with the losing team being one catch away from winning the game on the final play. Give it up. Stats don’t win games, the score does.
