Where is that story, Olivia??? Please post!! WHY the HAZMAT team??
Here is one news piece starting that tests for Ebola were negative.

You don’t think it prudent to use hazmat suits when the cause of death is unknown? The hospital I work at uses hazmat procedures for all unknown pathogens in the cases of unexplained death.
“When in doubt suit up” is the new normal FRiend.
Here is just one of the reports that the Ebola test was negative. There were two tests done, both got negative results.
Here is a list of results from a search on this subject, and contains even more articles on this, stating the tests were negative.
The reason for the HAZMAT team was explained in one of the articles. It was because of procedures developed after the FIRST FEW CASES that caused such a PANIC, that any soldier returning from Africa, who becomes ill or dies, a HAZMAT TEAM is sent, just in case.
WHICH is exactly why the initial PANIC (or as I would call it a necessary level of awareness of the problem) was a GOOD THING.
It is better to have the HAZMAT TEAM there, and not be needed than to not have them there, and need them. Ebola is not something to be taken a chance with.
