When a politician promises to construct a "Border Fence" we think he means a real barrier fence, built out of concrete and steel, topped with some concerina wire, and maybe with a moat or a deep ditch ans a secondary, high voltage electric fence.
The fence we want will be hard to climb, dig under, or go around and designed to keep out all but the very, very determined illegals.
But what the politician really means is a virtual fence consisting of an unmanned infra-red tracker on a tower somewhere in the middle of Kansas with a once a week download to an non-working ICE computer terminal somewhere in a sub-basement broom closet in Washington, DC.
And he probably already has his brother-in-law's newly incorporated construction company lined up to build the tower.
I vote for a “virtual” congress..
