"My place is so remote, we don't appear on Google maps or have cell service."

Well, I hope you chose a fertile place with at least three months of gardening season and no mess of crazy regulations (what I should have done).

Theoretically yes.

I'm going to test that theory come spring. The previous owners tilled the large garden last spring but failed to plant.

There is a dedicated well just for the garden too. I could expand the garden substantially after that, assuming I can get a decent base going.

As far as nosy bureacrats go, we now live in one of the poorest counties in the state (on purpose) who don't have the budget to spy on us. We are on our own (yeah!) as far as self-protection and fire.

The Post Office doesn't deliver here, or UPS or anyone.

We are, however, only 30 minutes from Wal Mart and a hospital, but you have to have a vehicle with good ground clearance to get in/out.
