Given that "phobia" is defined as an irrational fear of something, and in light of the decades long string of hundreds of terrorist attacks around the world (thousands if you count IEDs) committed in the name of islam... I'd say there is no such thing as "islamophobia" - seems like a perfectly rational, even a healthy fear to me.

Organizations and race-baiters toss out the “phobia” or race cards whenever it suits their needs. The blacks, Hispanics, gays, Moslems are a small percentage of the US population (for now), but if one doesn’t agree with their agenda or says something contrary to their beliefs or *wants*, then that person or group of people are {fill in the blank}phobes or racists. Unfortunately, it often works as they have some loud voices and also have the Dims and the LSM carrying their water.

Islamomisa is a better word. A REVULSION of Islam.

Islamophobia is a FEAR of islam.

Same for homophobia.
A better word is HOMOMISIA, a REVULSION of homos.
