I have been, unfortunately, on the receiving end of jaded nurses. Just horrific. 10 surgeries, many with long hospital recovery times. Nurse Ratchet would have been a blessing.

My wife was a nurse but quit in her mid thirties to concentrate on raising our daughter. It was like a ton of bricks was lifted from her back. She was always careful to explain what and why she was doing things to comatose and stroke affected patients as well as to the senile. Nursing is a wearing profession if done well.
