I know that its in Sweden and not Denmark but has anyone watched any of the series Wallander with Kenneth Branagh? I watched a few episodes since I like his acting but it was too depressing. The entire country seemed to be grey and dark and full of muslims. Could just be the producer but I have no desire to go to any countries in northern Europe.
Fifty years ago Sweden was considered paradise on earth by the libs because the government confiscated half of everyone’s wages as taxes.
A generation or so ago, socialism functioned a lot better in Scandinavia because they had mostly a homogeneous population which had not yet lost their work ethic. That's the "successful" model of socialism which most libtards want us to consider without, of course, the monoculture.
I have felt exactly the same about every Nordic (and most Euro) crime show I have watched. The American show, “Jesse Stone” is similarly depressed/depressing. “Lillehamer” is an exception.
The odd thing about “Wallander” is that it portrays the lifestyle of the upper bureaucracy as quite comfortable. No one is happy, but everyone drives an expensive car, lives in a lovely beach home, goes on vacation, has every modern tech toy, dresses well and eats well. Yet, the entire show is dreary.
