It’s always good to have someone who can relate. :-) I’m glad yours was able to be taken care of.
Here is an interesting twist. My shoulder had been giving me trouble for a couple of years, and one day I was getting in my car and as I lifted my right foot in, my left foot slipped out from under me and fell on my left shoulder. My wife said she heard the crunch. This was the night before we flew to our vacation in Hawaii.
My arm was useless EXCEPT for snorkeling. I had full motion without pain. I don’t get it. For anything else, strong pain came in any effort to lift my arm.
Oh, and I had to sleep in a chair for a month after surgery.
