NOT ONE talking head these days has understood the implications of just how appropriate is the militia for dealing with an internal threat such as terrorism.

I think perhaps there are multiple reasons that the political case do not want this:

1. It takes the citizen from a passive role to an active role,
2. which lessens dependence upon government agents,
3. and eliminates a hysteria button that they can press.
4. Further, it would teach them that government is not always the answer,
5. it would teach them that they can, by their own force of arms, effect change —
6. change such as deposing tyrants who abuse government power.
