Don’t you remember how fathers would quickly say “I read it for the interviews!” whenever an eyebrow was raised over a provocative cover? That was a cliché of the 1960s, lol.

We never had it in the house - my mother would have gone bananas. My brother and I had to settle for Bob Hope comic books. Which were pretty good.

This occurred well before the first Playboy hit the stands.

Speaking of which, PB used to have a cartoon feature character, Little Annie Fanny, with overblown bosom.

I understand they stopped it when real women started getting implants larger than the cartoon character. Where’s the joke then?
