He made an initial appearance in court Saturday morning and was granted $5,000 bond. He cannot have contact with the alleged victim or enter Volusia County where the victim lives, the judge said.
He was also ordered to surrender all firearms, even though there was no indication a firearm was used in the incident, the judge said.
His next court date is set for Feb. 17.
No other details were released about the incident.
