Good Evening, Publius!
In 1981, I entered the Music Ministry, and my husband’s cousin Joe, who was always dropping names to impress me, started bragging that he was friends with Andre Crouch.
Joe had been the one who signed all the Haight Ashbury Bands to Warner, but by then he was CEO of Capital.
At the time, I was learning all of Andrea’s music, and i still do some of his songs with my current band.
Andrea passed away yesterday at the tender age of 72 of a heart Attack. I have lined up several of his songs for Sunday Morning.
Anyway...odd you should feature 1981 tonight, in light of all these facts.
This was a Lionel Richie song, and it proved that Kenny could do it all.
