Norm, "we" have zero say in who wins the Republican nomination. Perhaps FR can in two short years organize people to reform the Republican Party from within and make it do an about-face in its huge primary infrastructure, but ... I am not holding my breath and I don't think anybody else should, either.
The only thing I see a benefit in is to wise-up and perceive now what is headed our way in 2016, and to anticipate already that a third-party element is conservatives' only chance at discouraging and weakening the forces of government tyranny. Thinking we can salvage the Republican party in time to avoid a Librino being nominated for the presidency, is to me, a waste of time.
