In an interview with KNPR that aired this morning, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) revealed that an exercise injury he suffered on New Years Day may leave him blind in one eye.
I had a serious injury in my eye, theres blood accumulation there, and were hoping that resolves itself, he said. As long as the blood is in the eye, its hard to see.
The 75-year-old Reid was exercising in his own home with resistance bands when one snapped, flying into his eye and knocking him backwards, breaking three ribs and suffering a concussion. Reid added that he was under strict orders not to be reading a bunch of emails.

That was my first impression, i.e. maybe he knows more than just bloated union leaders and brothel owners back in Nevada.

I really wish I could feel sorry for him, but he has been such a criminal, I just can’t.

If I were a Catholic I'd have to go to confession.
When I read what happened, I laughed.

old harry has a hell of a lawsuit, guess the company that made the equipment will probably settle.
harry should name the company that made the defective equipment so no one else gets hurt,a recall may be in order.

His leaving the Senate would cause great rejoicing in my house, and taking his minions with him would be the cause of even greater rejoicing. I don’t wish anyone the loss of sight.

Harry probably told his owners he was going to run in 16 whether they like it or not.
They have someone else picked out, however, and expressed their strong disagreement with Harry using physical gestures.
Harry’s “blindness” will be his excuse to retire.

It would take a Rube Goldberg sense of machine and design to reproduce this latest accident as Reid describes it to have occurred. I wish him fast healing and good doctors - during his doctor mandated retirement. Or did he pay for this? Don’t laugh. Maybe Reid saw no other way to stop doing the bidding of Michelle Obama and Valery Garrett.

A - What was his BAC?
B - An exercise band snapped? Or did his hand just slip off? Ya' know, those Mormons aren't circumcised.
