That and the Birds are the two most memorable for me.

I thought he would have made a good James Bond in the 60s, accent excepted.

He did a picture in the 1960’s with Trevor Howard, that was a James Bond type film call “The Liquidator”. Wasn’t bad and the female lead was played by Jill St. John.
About 1966 I think, pretty good movie.

He was also the voice of Pongo in 101 Dalmations and starred in a TV show, “The Bearcats.” A very fine actor indeed.

He was great in both. I also liked in him the movie, Hotel. Even though much older that I, I always thought he was very handsome when I saw those older films.

Check out his 1966 film “The Liquidator” were he played British agent Boysie Oakes. His leading lady was Bond girl Jill St. John and Bond theme diva Dame Shirley Bassey sang the title song. It’s probably the closest role to Bond that Taylor ever played.
