With all respect, you need to do so. The French have defeats but many victories.
I wonder if you are confusing The French Foreign Legion with The French Army led by French Government Politicians.
I tell you what, some time today I will send you a long list of French Surrenders and then you can send me a similar list of French “Army” Victories. That way we can educate each other.
Now, The French Foreign Legion I have great respect for. But, we must remember, other than their officers, the rank and file in the FFL are not French. They are from over 100 foreign countries.

The one that always bothered me the most is when they surrendered a magnificently equipped army of over 400,000 to the Nazi’s.
