A California father was arrested after throwing a party for his daughters 18th birthday over the weekend. The theme: Livs Playboy Mansion.
San Diego County sheriffs deputies told 10 News that 150 to 200 teens were in attendance Olivia Lakes birthday party. Many were drinking alcohol and some girls were dressed in lingerie and wearing bunny ears.
Complaints from neighbors led sheriffs deputies to shut the party down, and Olivias father Jeff Lake was arrested and charged with violating the social host ordinance in Poway, Calif. According to 10 News, that ordinance makes it illegal to host a party where underage individuals consume alcohol. It comes with a possible six month jail sentence.

Never have I stated that California IS NOT messed up as a whole. I - your post 168, by your shown and demonstrated “logic”, stating that Cali is messed up is knocking conservatives.
More than one of them in thread.
Seems they have nothing better to be offended by than mentioning that California has a reputation.
Yep, seems like a skin thickening business would be a good venture around here.
Case in point, listen to some pre '80's rock music, and see how many of them have references to conquering under age girls.
Morals in general have declined 99%+, still we see some rare instances where it has gotten better.
Reread #168.
This time pay attention to what I say about conservative
Californians.
But even if you just stated that California is messed up
that would be fair and accurate. But I am not a fruit or a
nut like you said I am and neither are all the conservative
friends I know here.
Yes you admitted, finally, that Cali has a reputation.
An earned one.
You knocked the state, and by your logic, conservatives.
Way I figure it, if I can keep you occupied with being perpetually offended over nothing and chasing your tail here, I am saving some other poster elsewhere in forum the blessing of dealing with your behavior.
Slithering your way, bud.
Not likely to happen though.
Apparently it is more personally productive to be outraged over....the state of California having a reputation.
Wait, where did these tentacles come from?!
Help is on the way!
In the day we'd get this thread up to 500 just using this guy as a prop.
Now to weave him into actual donations... I’m not that good.
And yeah, once upon a time an FR popcorn ping would have brought the Friday Night crew out to throw hilarious one liners and thread skits.
Nice try.
You started out by making an ass out of yourself and then
tried to turn the subject to reputation. It still goes
back to your original little kid post. You can’t own
your juvenile behavior. I deal with juveniles all day
and most of them are about the same as you. The way I
see it is that I am preventing you from making an ass
out of yourself on some other thread somewhere. You’ll
thank me for it someday, son.
Who?
I’m not the one offended at mentioning that all one needs to read is “a CALIFORNIA father” and that tells you to expect something messed up.
Kinda like saying “a NEW YORK politician” or “a FLORIDA resident” what comes after often is straight lunacy.
Which even you admitted.
What you cannot admit is that what CALIFORNIA father did
is not peculiar to California and isn’t even condoned here.
Further, the totality of your post is a blanket slam. At
least two others see it like that too. What is so damned
hard about admitting that you could have worded your post
better?
I don’t hang around FR and talk about Southern cousins getting married or the arrogance of Easterners without
prefacing my insults with the word “liberal”. I give
a pass to all conservatives until they prove unworthy.
I just ask for that consideration.
Well, it is nice that there are conservative Californians. You are to applauded and admired.
But, I don’t think it is a stretch of “100 hostile post” magnitude to state (without your preferred qualifying limitation) that California is the land of fruits and nuts. Practically every cockamamie trend of the last 50 years has its origins there and you are just going to have to accept it. You live in a place where stuff that would revile and sicken my neighbors and friends in the Midwest is an everyday occurrence to yours. Conservative or liberal. Get over it.
California has enough Republican voters to account
for about half of the total population of Ohio so
we probably have about twice the number of GOP members
as Ohio. Unfortunately we are still outnumbered. True,
for the past 50 years some kooky trends have started here.
But, in the first place the past 50 years you mention
coincide with the booming population growth. California
became the repository for the nation’s nut jobs, some
from Ohio. Thanks for that. Secondly, California didn’t
force any state to follow cockamamie trends. Your own
nut jobs did that.
You talk about all the stuff that reviles and sickens
Midwestern neighbors being everyday occurrences in
California. You are wrong. Got gay bars in Cleveland?
Bet you do. We have no gay bars in my whole county. My
point is that you come across like Californians and the
state itself is all the same.....gay bars from Crescent
City to National City. Believe me, rural Californians
are just as disgusted with our cities as anyone from the
Midwest.
I am not here to defend dumb stuff about California. I
defend conservatives who get lumped in with the whackos.
So you can get over that.
This bogus logic by which all Californians are reviled on FR is the same as racism, religious bigotry, etc.: Lots of Californians are liberals and do bad things therefore if a bad thing happens in California its characteristic of Californians thus lumping us all into that category. Its the same as saying Lots of black people commit crimes therefore if a black guy commits a crime its because he was black. Etc. People dont do bad things because of where they live or the color of their skin.
Its condescending bigotry, slandering the largest body of FReepers on this site. You consider that a "petty" matter.
I bet you were a helluva hall monitor back in high school!!!
I hardly bothered with high school, as my parents were in the midst of their second divorce. Aren't you perceptive!
Do you reject environmental factors as a determinant of behavior.
Influential, yes, determinant, no. Moreover, in a world of mass telecommunications, with libraries and the Internet, "environmental factors" are not exclusively local, it is impossible for "environmental factors" to be totally restricted temporally or spatially.
Hence, the question presupposes a false premise.
Okeedokee.
