Two police officers injured in southern Paris shooting

Two police officers have been injured, one critically, when two gunmen armed with automatic weapons opened fire in southern Paris, French media are reporting.

The Paris prosecutor's office said no link has been confirmed "at this time" between today's shooting and the attack against French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, Le Monde reported.

French police are carrying out manhunt for two brothers suspected of killing 12 people on Wednesday at satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris in a presumed Islamist militant strike.
