Wow; I’d imagine they viewed him as a traitor of sorts. They killed Muslims in the Twin Towers as well; meant nothing to them.
Islamist groups justify their indiscriminate attacks ‘on fellow believers’ by claiming that those living in the West, or otherwise not advancing their group’s radical cause, have betrayed “true Islam” and are therefore ‘apostates’....worthy of death as an infidel.
All you have to do is look at the Muslim countries who kill and maim their own people daily....why any would think they’d do anything less in their host countries is just stupidity.
Islam is a death cult period, no matter whose soil they live on.
