And I’m sure he spent a few minutes pondering the situation before undertaking it too.
You have a rank civilian and you are screaming that she isn’t as macho as you are. Where is the criticism from the people who put her in this spot? Maybe even playing down the risk?
Give it a rest, chesty thumpers.

" Perhaps, but they had a very bad security PLAN with a known weak link (a lady returning after lunch with a toddler, who opens the door with a code.) " OMG... hindsight and all that but still...
Even an old rentacop behind bulletproof glass with a revolver and an alarm button would have been a deterrent...
Was someone saying something about cost?
To: JudyinCanada
Yes, I would protect my own first. You may consider that a weakness, or lack of virtue, but I would die for my children. You are studiously ignoring the main point...would you de facto kill other people's children to save your own?

When that gets juxtaposed to a brick and mortar spot, we’ll figure it means a lot (not that I would ask anybody to do it in a million years). This has gotten batted about the internet for years, you are just one more doing it.

I think most of the naysayers are male, who have little or no attachment to their kids. While the cowards are, at least temperamentally, female, and see no higher calling than saving their own.....

You are really exaggerating and you know it. What risk would you consider acceptable to your own child before sacrificing same. Please tell us!

Yup - motherly instinct. Were SUPPOSED to have motherly instinct. Were NOT supposed to have to deal with terrorists. Then stop telling men how they are to provide for your security.

Why of course they are supposed to do so by feeding their children to killers.

Unarmed security makes about as much sense as firemen who lack fire trucks and hoses.Radio anyone? Which would give even more credence to Travis McGee's position....

Childish of you. Again, you mistake posturing for bravery. I don’t think you are a coward. But you obviously feel you were cheated out of your chance for glory in combat. Go see a shrink. Or go to the VFW and tell the guys who you wish you would have been sent back in the day.
Notice the looks on their faces jackwagon.

They had nothing to lose...
There are plenty of historical examples of people doing nothing, even though their deaths were imminent.
AND... there are also glorious examples of people acting with death mere seconds away.
I and others are in no mood for charity.
You might want to clarify your response.

How about the folks that put the woefully unprepared, and probably also ignorant, woman in this spot... not a word for them. It’s easy to blame the face you can see. What about the other faces you cannot?

Watching Cavuto now who has a talking head on. It was just mentioned that it is obvious there was meticulous planning, then said it could even be an inside job. Which makes me wonder several things......did the mother usually bring her child to work from daycare routinely, on a daily basis? Or was the mother involved?
