During WW II Prince Albert Tobacco was sold in a card board box instead of the usual tin. A joke that went around in those days was to ask if the store had Prince Albert in a can, if yes the joke went like, well let him out.....
Smart men kept their old tin container and transferred the tobacco from the card board box to their saved tin, many of them had a handy match holder that slid onto the bottom of the tin container.
