I’m sure the local McDonalds there could purchase some potatoes locally, some hand-operated french fryer cutters and proceed to make up fresh daily batches. Contracts with the FF manufacturers and corporate would not permit that. Overall, Mcd goes through 9 millions pounds a day of french fries.
