What a farce.

Rush reported that Grothman/WI voted for Boehner...very disappointing, I hope Rush was wrong for a change.

C’mon folks we’ve all been played here. Boehner was never in danger to lose his speakership. That’s fine. What that Bonehead doesn’t realize is he’s riled up the hornet’s nest, namely us. We don’t have to waste our time calling his office. We’ll just walk out on the party. Our numbers are significant enough to end the GOP. No more acting like the separated couple always looking for reconciliation. It’s time to divorce ourselves from the Republican Party.

As expected. The real action is happening at the state level. Our GOP coalition is made up of a fairly wide tent. Going forward we’ll need to pass laws that capture agreement with a majority of that coalition. There’s a lot of room for agreement.

The victories come from changing the thoughtspace. That’s already occurred with guns and abortions. We’re winning the fight against the welfare state and Islamism as well. It just takes time.

Since they elected an extreme left-wing liberal as speaker, they can do without my vote; State, local, and federal. No eGOP candidates ever again. I won’t feed the beast that is destroying my country.

Of course it makes sense. They were never going to get to 29. Now they can claim “we heard you, we just didn’t have the votes, darn it all anyway.”

The fix is in. Time for a real conservative alternative party.

Just 11% of republicans didn’t vote for the Speaker.
89% did vote for him.

Tempest in a teapot, this is what we have to work with.

And Harry Reid’s doctor recommended he stay home and steal from there. I know Reid is in the Senate.

Well, now you know that the game is over. We're truly done as a constitutional republic when those men and women whom held themselves as virtuous defenders of the constitution, refuse to do what is right.

Each man and woman has their price. It only took 30 pieces of silver to condem Jesus. The price has gone up a bit since then but the outcome will still be the same.

28 voted against Boehner/Pelosi - By my count (I may be wrong) 25 members didn’t vote,m of which 23 were Dems. The Dems corrupted the process by not showing up and got Boehner re-elected. Is anyone out there? HELLO? HELLO? No one see this but me????

I have said all along, and I am sure many others have thought the same thing, that nothing will change in Washington.

We have two corrupt political “Big Government” parties and the will of the people no longer matters.

So do not look for Obamacare to be defunded or changed, along with any number of other important issues.

I am getting to the point where I can no longer see supporting Republicans at any Federal Level any longer.

It was all pre-arranged, but the American people will never figure things out.

Just as clarification there were 24 GOP No Votes for Boehner, 1 GOP voted Present. 408 votes were cast so 27 Reps did not attend the session. Supposedly many went to Mario Cuomo funeral. With 408 votes cast, the rebels needed 35 no votes. If all 435 votes were cast the rebels would of needed 29.

how often do these vote for new speaker occur? Every 2 years or every year or any time a speaker loses confidence of the majority?

This was organized and executed like the Bay of Pigs (and I was there in 1961).

With better advance planning, strategy, and recruiting this could very easily have been a victory instead of a defeat.

You don’t DEFEAT A POWER-HUNGRY EGO MANIAC by just ‘throwing your hat into the ring’.
