All the members are sworn in today, before the Speaker vote. The families are allowed to be on the floor for that ceremonial purpose. It’s the only time that happens. Lighten up.
If the House is not in session, not involved in official House business, then let little timmy crap on the carpet. But when conducting official business, keep them off the floor.
To do otherwise is disrespectful and trivializing the House and boring the chill'ren as they are being used as a prop.
