I find it ironic that people are criticizing the mayor and his "wife" for showing disrespect... then praising the union who used the funeral to make a political statement. No mention in the article or most of the news about this cops service, tenure or good deeds in his lifetime, but a lot about this. If the family didn't want the shill at their funeral, they would have asked him to stay away, they didn't.

Don't mistake my disgust with this as support for this leftist mayor. This funeral was supposed to be about the man who died, a tribute to his life. All party's involved should be ashamed of themselves.

I don't think you understand the difference between a political statement and a statement of principle.

They turned their back on a man who Co tributes the the deaths of these two cops. They turned their backs on a man who is risky their lives for political purposes. Politics had nothing to do with their actions.
