I doubt this will go through. The only thing that can possibly happen is if the family sues the state which I am surprised they haven yet.

Gee, wonder if the plaintiff is one of the 3 or one of the 9?
Sounds like this only has the potential of causing more riots, deaths and police shootings.
Why not grant his request?

I would allow the juror to go public...on the condition that any money earned as a result go to charity...
Watch the juror chock on that condition!

The lawsuit also questions St. Louis County prosecutor Bob McCullochs characterization that all grand jurors believed that there was no support for any charges.Frankly I'd be pretty pissed if you gagged me and then spoke for me.

Let me guess
weren’t there three black members of the 12-person jury?
And all it took to decide were 9 votes?

'The suit contends that McCullochs office handled the Wilson case far differently than the others, with a stronger focus on the victim. The suit also contends that legal standards were discussed in a muddled and untimely manner.'
Aka, allowing testimony that was known to be fraudulent.

If I were seated on that GJ, there is no way in hell that I would want the gag order lifted. I certainly wouldn’t want any chance, however slim, for the animals to find out my name, address, etc.

What (the grand juror) wants is to be able to be part of the conversation. What they want is to cash in on the money "Dateline" and "The Today Show" are dangling.

Bob McCullochs characterization that all grand jurors believed that there was no support for any charges. If the prosecutor said any such thing he's an idiot.
Quite obviously there existed evidence that would have justified charges, if examined in isolation. The GJ decided there was insufficient evidence to justify charges, not that there was no such evidence at all.

“A member of the grand jury . . . .asked a federal court Monday to remove a lifetime gag order preventing jurors from discussing the case.”
In other words. . .I want to write a book and sign a movie deal and make big bucks.
