Well, ICEL does similar to all of the liturgical texts it touches, so this is to be expected.

I used to be in the language business (translating and interpreting), and highly doubt that the translator or interpreter left out the passages. They would without doubt lose their jobs, and probably never regain any translation or interpreting job again. I did find the "Official Vatican Text of Pope Francis' Urbi et Orbi here, and will check the original Italian when I have a chance.
