You can’t tell me that this is not a magnificent song. Just beautiful, and so perfectly simple.
That being said, Eddie is a complete jerk, and most of Pear Jam’s songs are not very good.
They hit a home run with this one though.
I always thought Pearl Jam was a lot more interesting when it was still Mother Love Bone. Andrew Wood was a better singer and frontman than Vedder, IMHO. Too bad he couldn’t leave the drugs alone.
