2. And, even if she never improves (IMO) in her views, I at least don’t see her being underhanded or deceitful about her positions, so I don’t see a reason to hurl personalized insults at her.

2. Amen to that. One can ALWAYS attack IDEAS. THAT is fair game. Personal attacks are just un-Christian. I am guilty of that, on occasion, as my fingers move faster than my brain. But, I always regret it and always offer public apologies to said blastee. Did so just the other day.

I totally disagree. That is a coward’s way out.

The person has the idea, so it is the person I attack.

Liberals have sissified this nation with the idea that a person can have bad ideas but we are not to hold that person accountable, that only the idea should be attacked. This has allowed people to be dead wrong and hurt others yet remain without accountability themselves.
