And the schools still suck
Trust but verify?
Have Money Will Spend
Documenting White Privlege.
You can bet there won’t be any tapes of black aggression towards whites.
I bet that there is not one of those cameras that can distinguish a whaite from a black.
you beat me to it!
They could make the students wear cameras, like cops.
They want to make certain kids aren’t taking sack lunches to school.
Exactly.
technology has and will and keeps on saving us!
That's the thing about a surveillance society: the power belongs to those who run the cutting room.
Cameras work great at identifying who died first and providing clinical forensics.
They do zip to actually prevent or defend from attack.
Modern day Peeping Toms. Freaks are everywhere these days. When they’re not fondling somebody’s “junk”, they peeping on you. You could say that we are all being stalked by the government bullies.
It’s OK the cost to local taxpayers are “offset” by federal grants. See who has investments in companies that provide these services and you will find the sponsors and after all its for “the children”....offset sounds nice doesn’t it? Did anyone else notice it was strictly the Amish who were doing the stealing?
Seriously, do you think they are on or being watched? They are not on but the people who are being paid to watch are on the clock.
The bad behavior may be recorded on tape, but no consequences or discipline usually follows, so the camera is not a deterrence.
Two questions. One about the fundamental purpose for a school - how will this expenditure educate the kids? Two, I already know the libtard answer to #1 “It’ll help create a safe environment to learn in.” Ok, will those cameras magically jump off the walls and stop a shooter? A bully? Anything? They may have some minimal and transient deterrent value, but the kids will figure out ways around them.
I hope these cameras are not in locker rooms or bath rooms!
