Arizona has the right idea on driver’s license issuance though:
Arizona issues an “extended” driver license that does not expire until age 65. However, your photo and vision screening will need to be updated every 12 years. Drivers 60 years old and older will receive a five-year license.
Get it at age 20 and you’re good for the next 45 years.
I was unaware of that.
I propose for southern states a law that says that people must be residents of the state for a minimum of 15 years before they can run for local office.
Call it the parasite law.
