“So far the French have refused to give the Saudis any discounts on the grain they are purchasing to feed Egypt.”

How much grain do the frogs grow? I didn’t think they could grow enough for themselves, much less export anything.

France is the world’s third largest exporter of wheat. It exports over 18,000 metric tons yearly. Good percentage is exported to Egypt and North Africa. Extremely important component of the French economy.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the Euro block started having locally grown grain shortages of their own. India, Russia, Australia, Canada, and the USA until recently all contributed to the export market.

ISIS’ negative influence upon agriculture should become apparent next growing season. Stealing even the seeding grain and evicting the farmer will have consequences.

As for Egypt, the carry capacity with Oxen is 4 million not the current 85 million, fed with imports supplementing above the 25 million margin supported with modern agriculture locally.
