Stay close to keep an eye on your car, leave it unlocked, and leave the electronics on the seat. It will be stolen.

Stay close to keep an eye on your car, leave it unlocked, and leave the electronics on the seat. It will be stolen. Put a pile of electronics on the sidewalk, place a sign nearby that says: "Electronics, $1000 or best offer". Walk away.
Should be gone within the hour...

I know someone whose car was broken into. The thieves broke a window to get into an unlocked car. Thieves aren't the smartest people on earth.
