Just shaking my head. The UK should bomb Buenos Aires, just to shut them up.

Makes for good press in Argentina. Cristina needs something to distract the peasants from her failed socialist policies.

Don’t cry for the Iron Lady Argentina.
The whole continent is turning into a hopeless socialist slum.

If they do erect that statue, the Argentinians will probably try to pull it down. But, Margaret may still have the last laugh if economic pressures come into the discussion.

He said: 'The statue is not a symbol of democracy. It's her fault so many died.' The blood is solely on Galtieri's hands.

They should make it a colossal statue holding a torch.

Argentina would not even repatriate their own war dead! The Brits had to build a cemetery for them on the Falklands. Argentina used their honored dead as political pawns. Thus they can say "our soldiers are buried in the Malvinas." Therefore, it is our land. How foolish.
Galtieri and his henchmen plotted and then invaded the Falklands. The fault is clearly on their shoulders. And Fernandez needs to stick to practicing witchcraft and not soldiering. Otherwise she will be presiding over many funerals for her soldiers....

But Argentina's ambassador to London, Alicia Castro, has condemned the statue 'in our Malvinas Islands' as a provocative move, saying: 'What the UK is doing is celebrating war.' Her anger was echoed by veterans' leader Mario Volpe in Buenos Aires. He said: 'The statue is not a symbol of democracy. It's her fault so many died.' He said Mrs Thatcher 'could have avoided the war and the deaths'.
How DARE Margaret Thatcher not roll over and take it like a little b***h for Argentina starting a War!

It's none of Argentina's business. The islands are not now and never have been Argentine property.
