To give folks here not in-the-know a frame of reference, most of my Infantry Soldiers received an ARCOM for a 15-month combat tour in Iraq during the height of the insanity over there.

I received my ARCOM for serving 4+ years in Germany. I was a platoon leader for three platoons, maintenance officer, XO, property book officer, and battalion S-4 (supply officer).

My, how times have changed.
