I have friends and family---conservatives who are right in step with Freepers when it comes to policy and values---who look at me blankly when I say that Jeb isn't a fellow conservative. They have no clue. When I explain, their tendency is to shrug and say, oh, well, he's probably going to be the nominee so what choice do we have?

Anything from me beyond that point they clearly don't want to hear.

Then they deserve what they get. Might be tough love for them but actions have consequences for conservatives, nominal conservatives or liberals alike. The laws of reality don’t bend to accommodate anyone.
