Have you tried the Flashblock browser add-on? It puts a button on flash objects. The button must be clicked for the object to run. Love it.
Yes, I’ve tried it. That and Adblock Plus. However, as with any add-ons, heck, even Flash, Silverlight and various Google and Adobe products, it slows down the browser software, and even causes it to crash. And this is true with all the major browsers, each one seeming to get hung up on a different add-on that makes various web pages a mess.
It getting to the point that I stop going to certain sites.
Thanks, Upchuck!!! Those instant-starting videos are a pain in the @ss. (Especially if your already listening to another program online, and all of sudden the audio of the “new” video drowns out the audio of your original video. All browsers should stifle all flash audio by default.
