My stepfather told an interesting story today about one of his sisters, Louise.
She had been spanked by a substitute teacher in school that day and it was not an ordinary spanking; he left red marks on her back.
She told her mom and dad what happened and showed them the marks on her back. While this was going on, an older brother walked in; he overheard the conversation, he called her to him and lifted her blouse up so he could see the marks on her back. He said nothing but got in his truck and drove away — to the teacher’s house and judging from what Papa said, he beat the hell out of that guy.
That guy didn’t stick around; it is my understanding he left real quick.
That is pretty much the way the males in my family take care of problems like that.
