Yes, that’s exactly what I just said. It’s just nice to see that the idea that Reagan had — which was to retake the party and then retake the country — has been systematically abandoned, ignored, or derided.

RR didn't take over the party.
He just borrowed it for awhile.
During my lifetime the Repub Party has been progressive, has never been conservative.
Hence my tagline.
