RE: I have NO idea why people stay in New York...Calif. has at least good weather.

I have a nephew who graduated law school UCLA, passed the bar, and has been trying to find a job in corporate law in California.... no luck.

He came to NY and passed the bar here too. He finally got a job doing bankruptcy law.

He quit working for the firm after two years and decided to try his luck back home in California. It’s been over 10 months and he’s still looking....

Indeed it does. Lived all over West LA/Santa Monica/MDR 80s and 90s, and it's a fantastic place to be young and stupid. However, San Diego in the late 70's was absolute heaven.

Here's a common sense idea for nephew. Look at the growth states, Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida. That's where the jobs are or will be. He's not the brightest bulb in the store is he?
