A couple weeks ago a clerk at Lowes wished me Merry Christmas, I returned the greeting and started to walk away, then thought better of it.

Went back and said, "You just wished me a Merry Christmas, I do not count myself as a Christian, BUT I very much appreciate the greeting! I don't like it when I get a lukewarm 'Happy Holidays' I say back 'Merry Christmas' get a second 'happy holidays' give 'em The Look and get a meek "We're not allowed to say 'Merry C-C-Chr--, I mean, we can only say 'happy holidays'"

I HATE that.

Thank you for the Merry Christmas!

The customers he was with thanked me...

I despise the “Happy Holidays” thing. It’s so RINO. I have wished Merry Christmas to people who look muzzie only to receive a very warm Merry Christmas in return. Indeed, many ofd these muzzies in my area are not muzzie at alll, but Coptic, Assyrians, Syriac, or other Christians from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria etc.

Lowe’s got taken to the PC woodshed a few years back when they had signs and banners that said Seasons Greetings and Feliz Navidad. It was preposterous that they could say Merry Christmas in Spanish but not in English. There was a boycott campaign and now they bend over backwards to say and display Merry Christmas.
