My best cat ever was a calico. Assertive, but in a sweet way. She would move books or newspapers aside when we were reading so we could pay attention to HER.
My Jack Russel does that, if I’m reading he’ll come and
put his nose over the pages....Hey, it’s my turn...
a good belly scratch and then I can continue to read...
That's the way my cat is--assertive in a sweet way, such as when she gets next to my face while I'm sleeping and purrs loudly when she wants a midnight snack.
This morning, she meowed at me whan I got up. I assume that means, "Merry Christmas." Right now, she's sitting on my knee.
